Henvey Inlet

   Henvey Inlet Indian Reserve is located along the easterly shore of Georgian Bay, approximately 100 km south of Sudbury.

    

 Halliday Surveying Inc. was contracted to survey a portion of the railway passing through the First nations land, and to provide accurately located points for use in mapping from aerial photographs.

    

    We hired a member of the First Nation and the band-owned boat to access the tricky shoreline between Key River Harbour and Britt, and located several of the major reserve boundary markers, and then used GPS to determine accurate latitude and longitude.
