We were formed in May, 2004, and own the Sudbury District survey records for predecessors William Keatley OLS, Louis Emon OLS, Dane Wandabense OLS and Thaddeus Patten OLS. The Company holds a Certificate of Authorization under the Surveyor’s Act of Ontario and a Permit and License under the Canada Lands Surveyors Act
We offer a full scope of land surveying services including legal, engineering, GPS control, Title Searching, Investigation and Reporting into complex boundary issues as well as land development.
Legal and Control Survey Services -include boundary surveys, Canada and Ontario crown land surveys, surveyors real property reports, reference plans, subdivision plans, draft plans, 2nd and 3rd order Horizontal & Vertical control surveys for photogrammetric mapping utilizing GPS and conventional methods.
Engineering Survey Services -include Topographic surveys for Municipal Governments, Architects, Aggregate Permits, residential, commercial & industrial building stakeout, layout, grading and volume calculations of roads and rockwork.
Global Positioning Surveys - geodetic accuracy with 5 Sokkia single frequency and one dual frequency GPS receivers, and including one Real Time Kinematic (RTK) system.
Boundary Disputes – depending upon what is required we undertake Registry Office and Survey Records research, and sufficient field investigation to provide a Report with Recommendations as to whether a perceived boundary infraction is a valid concern, and outline where we propose placing the boundary. The involvement of a lawyer is also recommended, to build a Team who can move forward toward any litigation required to resolve the situation.
Land Development – we have many years of experience with Severance Applications, Draft Plans of Subdivision, Final Subdivisions and have been involved with the only Condominium registered on Manitoulin Island.
